Amazon greenlights Jack Ryan series starring John Krasinski

Amazon is trying to revamp novelist Tom Clancy's classic John Ryan character. The company just greenlit a 10-episode series based on the fictional CIA agent, starring John Krasinski as the lead role. Krasinski was cast this past spring when the show had a series commitment from Amazon, but had not yet been greenlit.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission said on Monday that it has halted the trading of a firm called Neuromama. The company has a market cap of around $35 billion with shares valued at $56.25 a share before the halt.

Amazon's Add-on program is incredibly useful, but it can also be a pain.

Add-on Items are cheap products that the company deems "cost-prohibitive to ship on their own." Many of them are everyday household items — like toothpaste or pens — that could save you a trip to your local convenience store.

But there's a catch: Amazon has a $25 minimum-order requirement, and that's not including the Add-ons.
