Question: battery life?

Battery life is often stated by users as a key feature of Smartphones.  The Samsung SIII has a larger battery than the SII and has a more efficient processor.  But this is as the cost of having a larger device.  What do you prefer, smaller device and average battery life or larger device and better battery life? Thanks to Jah for the question.

Question: platforms?

And another question from Jah. Do we need more than two mobile OS options (IOS and Android)?  Do we really need Win Phone, WebOS and Symbian as well?  Is this better when compared to the situation we have had with PCs where Windows has been a dominant force for a long time?  I myself am now very happy with Android as it has all the good bits of Symbian and IOS.

Question: form factors?

Another question from Jah today. Nokia have gone public with their plans for creating devices in different form factors.  Are you happy with the slate like form factor?  What other form factors would you be interested in?  I personally like the clam shell form factor.

Question: larger screens?

Here’s a question from Jah. With the increasing use of tablets, will people really want large screen (e.g. like the Samsung SIII) devices?  If you have a connected tablet (i.e. with mobile connectivity), what size Smartphone would you prefer?
